hi Darling, I’m

Mrs. Hannover

I’m a proud homemaker, wife, and stay-at-home mom. It wasn’t always this way though. As a newlywed, I felt embarrassed to say I was a homemaker or a housewife.

I spent most of my adult life and teenage years ashamed of being too feminine. Even as a little girl my friends made fun of me for liking pink just a little too much. Can you relate to this?

In my early teens, I tried to dress like a tomboy and even sported shorter hair. I thought that I was doing the right thing, that being my real self was somehow wrong. That I should be more outgoing, sportier, and less soft-spoken and shy.

As an adult, even though I was considered quite feminine by my friends I still didn’t feel like I was being my true self. I hadn’t embraced my femininity to its fullest. I really felt it was something about myself that was faulty, something I needed to fix or suppress.

In the dating world, I forced myself to speak to the guy first or call him first. Most of the time this did not work to my advantage contrary to what all the popular magazines, books, and movies promised.

It took me many years to learn that actually there was nothing wrong with me. That longing to be a wife, mother, and to take care of my home were things many women aspire to.

I finally felt free. Shortly afterwards, I met and married the man of my dreams and we now have a beautiful baby girl.

This was all possible because I let go of society’s expectations of me and decided to be myself. I finally embraced my God given femininity and it brought me real happiness and soul satisfaction like nothing before.

I wish the same for YOU!

Won’t you join me?
