School of Affluence Review Part I

Welcome ladies, to our much requested School of Affluence Review. As there is a lot to cover we have decided to write our review in three parts. Happy reading!

What is School of Affluence?

School of Affluence is an online finishing school founded in 2018 by successful luxury lifestyle blogger Anna Bey, of fame.

Anna Bey is half Estonian, half Finnish but grew up in Sweden.  She has lived in Rome, Ibiza, London, and is now based in Geneva with her affluent boyfriend.

What makes her an expert?

When she created the course, Anna’s only credentials were her own experience in the upper echelons of high society and being a certified matchmaker (hence the moniker “billionaire matchmaker” in the press.)

However, since then, she has indeed gained the proper credentials to teach etiquette and manners. She attended the prestigious Swiss finishing school Institut Villa Pierrefeu, last summer and successfully completed their six- week intensive course. She now has a diploma in International Etiquette & Protocol. (UPDATE: She is now a certified Image Consultant).

What does the course actually teach?

The course is divided into seven modules and each module contains 5-10 mini lessons which are either videos of Anna speaking directly to the camera or power-point presentations.  Each module comes with a workbook that is designed to pinpoint your own goals, strengths, and weaknesses in relation to each topic.

Additionally, extra materials such as her e-book “How to be Classy” and other e-books on the subject of Confidence and Etiquette are included.

There is a private Facebook group where students can post all sorts of questions to each other – the users are very friendly and helpful but Anna does not answer questions directly. (There is a moderator but she does not actively participate in the group).

      1. Hi Mrs. Hannover!
I love so much Anna’s content, it’s such pity that still don’t have the money to pursue one of her courses.
Can you explain me with more detail about this topic of what to wear on a date and what to talk?
        Thank you!

      2. Hi Ymelda! I don’t remember the specifics right now but she did mention having a designated first date outfit ( I think she said a little black dress was perfect – although now that she has learned about color theory I suspect she would advise you to pick the colors that suit you) Talk about interesting current events etc don’t focus on any relationship stuff or anything too personal in the initial stages… hope this helps!

  1. Does Anna at any stage talk about what perfumes smell classy, elegant or stylish? Not all expensive perfumes are classy.
    Thanks 😊

    1. Hi Collette, she does discuss the importane of perfume in her book “How to be Classy” I’m not sure if this is available outside of the course. It’s a great book actually – really exceeded my expectations! x

  2. 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Matthew 19:24, “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

    1. Whatever makes you feel good.

Anna may love material things but she is also very generous in spirit. She shares her experience and knowledge with other women and helps them live their best lives and feel happy about themselves. This is very kind of her. Many other women would hoard this knowledge and pretend they are natural effortless besties. I admire and like Anna for her honesty.

  3. Thanks for commenting, Anon. I am also a Christian and do not approve of Anna’s emphasis on targeting rich men which I have made clear in my reviews. However, I have noticed that she has changed and is now helping women become more elegant in general.
I think it’s important to take care of your self as well as others and dressing well is one important aspect of that.
“So go ahead. Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, for God approves of this! Wear fine clothes, with a splash of cologne!” Ecclesiastes 9:7-8
